The Sokatek motor is the substitute for our Flexicord model, a true classic of rope scrapers, which began operating in 2007. After the accumulated experience all these years, we have developed this drive group with the aim of improving efficiency and reducing maintenance.n
n
The Sokatek drive unit is made up of a galvanized steel frame, covered by a sheet, also made of galvanized steel, removable to allow access to the mechanism for maintenance and/or repair work.
n
The transmission mechanism is indirect, by means of a pinion and chain, which reduces the suffering of the motor and therefore, implies a longer lifespan of the same; at the same time that the traction force of the same is multiplied.
n
In this model we have a large diameter drum, allowing a better work of the rope or cable, as well as a greater winding capacity. In addition, we have eliminated the guide roller, with the aim of eliminating wear points.n
n
This motor works with both cable and 10-12mm diameter dyneema rope, although it also has a great winding capacity for 16-20mm diameter rope.n
n
With this system, it is necessary to install two motors, which allows us to adapt to any type of distribution of the block, being able to place the motors in any position. A system with two motors can clean 1, 2 and even up to 3 aisles, of different lengths, being able to reach 160m in length depending on the configuration. Or even more although for longer distances, there may be other critical elements that should be analyzed.n
